With WelleCo approaching its tenth birthday this March, it’s only fitting that our founder, Elle Macpherson, has been named ‘Beauty Entrepreneur of the Year’ at The Harper’s Bazaar Spain Women of the Year 2023 Awards.

 

The third annual ceremony was held at Cine Callao in Madrid, with Elle and her partner Doyle joined on the red carpet by other women of the year guests, including Alexa Chung and Eva Longoria.

 

Aquazzura founder Edgardo Osorio proudly presented Elle with her award, with our founder taken aback by the honour.

 

“I am just so very grateful to be here and for this wonderful, powerful opportunity to work with Harper’s Bazaar Spain to remind everyone of their innate real beauty and uniqueness — it's their gift to this world,” she said.

 

“Nurturing the emergence of unique beauty through wellness with our collection of empowering elixirs and education for me, has been the joy of a lifetime.”

 

A picture of beauty-through-wellness, Elle wore head-to-toe Dior, with her black chiffon floor-skimming gown completed with a show-stopping cape. To mark the occasion, Elle also features on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Spain (pictured). The corresponding photoshoot of our 59-year-old founder (pictured) is equally breath-taking.

 

We spoke to Elle after the awards, who generously dedicated her accolade to her WelleCo team:
